Our Founding: A Mission Born from Compassion and Necessity

March on Mission was founded by Courtney Reimmuth, a dedicated mental health advocate with years of experience in the field. Courtney’s journey into the realm of mental health was driven by a deep-seated desire to address the disparities in access to effective treatments for those who need them the most. The spark for March on Mission ignited as she witnessed the profound struggles faced by some of the most vulnerable groups in our society—veterans, first responders, and foster children.

Frustrated and saddened by the glaring gap in mental health services for these individuals, Courtney envisioned a world where the barriers to mental health care were dismantled. These heroes, who often face the darkest moments head-on, found themselves battling internal storms without the support and resources they desperately needed. This vision of leveling the playing field and providing equal access to life-saving mental health services led to the creation of March on Mission.

Under the guidance of our passionate Executive Director, Tara Rager, March on Mission is propelling forward with a clear and profound purpose: to change the world, one mind at a time. Tara brings her extensive leadership experience and a heartfelt commitment to mental health advocacy, steering our organization towards impactful initiatives and sustainable growth.
